Crypto Currency- My thoughts as I started this journey

So, I decided that at fifty I have no retirement, no 401K and well we have some financial messes to sort out and due to life choices I have not a lot of options for careers that are going to make me a lot of money right now, I don’t have the skills or just the right idea or service to provide just yet. So, in planning for my future in an unstable world in a pandemic with all this uncertainty I have decided to invest whatever little bit I have to do so in cryptocurrency. That’s right, I have taken the crypto-plunge. Crypto itself has also taken its own plunge the last few days of this week so it’s been an interesting journey as this last week has been quite crazy and volatile with a number of challenges hitting my life and my husband’s life. Yet we continue on because that’s what we do.

I’m sitting here at 2 a.m. when really I meant to be in bed two hours ago because I am debating what else it is I can do to earn money as it is apparent I can’t count on the hours I thought I could when I took this job, apparently there’s really not much to be counted on. Truly I think I may have chosen the wrong company. Yet it is a pandemic and I was unemployed and really having a difficult time finding anything before it started so I am most grateful to have any job at all now. There are many who have been involved in crypto much longer than I and can provide much more in-depth knowledge because face it I just told you I am just getting started. I have been aware of its existence for a long time but uncertain of it. Now I have taken the plunge and still know very little. I am at the novice point in my journey and I have decided to share that journey with you.

There is so much info out there it’s really hard to decipher what is relevant when you are just getting started so I am here to help you understand exactly what I have found of value and helpful on my journey. What’s worked for me, what hasn’t and why. I will also share my understanding and increasing knowledge as we go along. I don’t expect this journey to ever stop as often the more you learn the less you know but this is not just a journey into cryptocurrency it is also to understand the blockchain, the foundation upon which it rests as well. So come, join me on this journey as we learn about cryptocurrency/(ies)/and the blockchain itself and how it all works so we can make informed decisions and decide if it’s something we find valuable enough to invest and participate in as it is truly a decentralized monetary control, but not just monetary, asset transfer and resource management and more it is truly something with amazing potential for creating a more distributed system of wealth and power in the world than has ever existed before and this is the reason I believe this something worth investing in intellectually and financially as it has a lot of potential to provide even greater returns on my investments. I invite you to join me on this journey.

After all being alive in 2020 seems itself to be a gamble. Breathing itself a risk. Though, I must close this entry as I have to go to bed. Things that I must accomplish tomorrow and it’s a day off work. I am excited about sharing this journey and what I hope to evolve from that sharing as well. More on that too, as I aim on being as transparent as possible as that’s just kind of the way I tend to be and no need and being anything but authentic, even when I wish I had more wisdom or hadn’t been such a fool it’s still me, I’m human too. So, join me on this messy journey and let’s see how it works out together, but for now I must say- Good Nite! 9.5.2020
